Seven women have accused Tim Westwood of unwanted sexual conduct. The women claim Tim used his status as a well-known DJ to exploit them, according to the Guardian.

Three of the seven women alleged sexual predation by the DJ, according to the Guardian. The DJ allegedly groped them on occasions.

The DJ was the subject of a joint Guardian/BBC investigation that led to these revelations. Tim has been accused of crimes since 1992, most recently in 2017.

According to one lady, “being used for my ignorance and lack of confidence isn’t something I should have to bear with shame.”

The BBC interviewed seven black women. Tim Westwood: Abuse of Power, a BBC Three documentary, airs at 21:00 on Tuesday.

They stated they agreed to meet the DJ in London to discuss music since they wanted to work in the industry. They claim the DJ drove them to a flat and forced them into unplanned s3x. One was 19 and the other 53.

She met Tim when she was 17 and he was in his mid-30s while in an R&B group. She alleges that when she agreed to visit him, he forced her to have oral sex. Ladies accused him of groping them while posing for pictures with him during his shows.

BBC and Guardian changed women’s names to protect their identities. The ladies are said to be strangers. Several of them still work in the music business and fear penalties, the BBC and the Guardian report.

Accusations about Westwood’s conduct with young black women have been around for a long time. In 2020, Westwood lambasted the “fabricated charges,” calling them ridiculous and unfounded.

Following the investigations, the DJ has been accused of several offences, which he denies.
