The Internal Audit Agency has awarded the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission Mrs. Jean Mensa for her support to internal audit activities.
The Agency presented her with a citation expressing their appreciation for her “timely implementation of audit recommendations and general support to internal audit activities.”
“You ensured that the Internal Audit Unit was provided with adequate resources, space and logistics to enable it deliver on its mandate in an objective and independent manner devoid of intimidation,” the citation by the Internal Audit Agency added.
According to the agency, Jean Mensa’s actions have undoubtedly enhanced the internal control systems of the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
The event was held at the University of Professional Studies(UPSA) today, 15th September, 2023.
Meanwhile the citation was presented to Mrs Mensah by the Senior Presidential Adviser, Mr Yaw Osafo Marfo.
